We all love new skins, and these “legacy” skins are amazing, but we’re slowly becoming custom to way more content. Overwatch have been releasing PvE content over the past few months including the Halloween, and now the King’s Row Uprising. There were also a few hero balances and changes, but we’ll get to that in a bit.

What is Uprising? The trailer below shows it all, but the Uprising event puts Tracer, Mercy, Torbjorn and Reinhardt against waves of omnic robots. Behind the scenes, they’re being assisted by the rest of the Overwatch team, including Blackwatch, run by the soon-to-be Reaper.

The event will run until May 1st and players will have to clear the streets of King’s Row and escort the payload as the enemies get stronger with each wave.

Hero Changes:

  • Sonic Amplifier

    • Damage increased by 25 percent

    • Projectile speed increased from 40 to 50

    • Alternate fire now considers vertical orientation when knocking targets back

  • Crossfade

    • Area of effect radius has been decreased from 30 meters to 10 meters

  • Heal Song

    • Healing-per-second has been increased by 30 percent (also applies to Lúcio's Amp It Up ability)

    • Self-healing has been reduced by 25 percent

  • Wall Ride

    • Movement speed increased by 20 percent when wall riding

    • Lúcio now receives a burst of speed when leaping off a wall

This is the big one for the new patch as Lucio role will now be felt best in group push/snowball teams. He’ still fun to play, and the wall ride buff is awesome for mobility and escaping enemies.

There also a whole lot of new skins, seen in the video, and some new sprays which are hinting at some romances in the Overwatch world. Needless to say, this is quite the packed patch, so have enjoy it while it lasts!
