The largest Call of Duty competition, the Call of Duty World League Championship, will be heading to Orlando, Florida this year. From August 9th to August 13th the world’s best Call of Duty teams will head to the Amway Center to compete for their share $1.5 million.

Announced earlier today, Activision is set to welcome 32 teams to East Coast, a first for Call of Duty. In previous years the Call of Duty World League Championship had been hosted in Los Angeles, California at the Forum. The new venue, the Amway, is the home of the Orlando Magic and can seat up to 20,000 fans!

Qualifiers for the 2017 Call of Duty World League Championships are already underway with teams starting to qualify through the COD World League Global Pro League. The GPL hosts four groups of four teams and the top three will go through to the main event in August. Last year’s champions Team EnVyUs have already secured their spot, alongside Splyce, FaZe Clan, EG, Rise Nation and Mindfreak.

This year all eyes are on EnVyUs as they try to maintain form through to August and secure a second win at the Call of Duty World League Championship
